Had a really super Labor Day weekend - managed to see Willie Nelson LIVE with Brian at the state fair - which was super fun now that guy is amazing!
- we where there to see Duane strut his stuff with his shires and boy did they look gorgeous!! and he managed to be in ribbons for every class : ) nice work Duane - and crew!

as far as my garden in concerned summer is still in full swing... it's much better this year than last :) use of my arms helps!! I'm also finally learning a little more in regards to an Oregon garden ...
Also made some home made mozzarella to go with all those tomatoes and basil - yum!! it's amazing how much milk it's takes to make cheese! the cheese in the photo below used 1 gallon -

The veggies and flowers in the basket are crying to be painted, Clare. How beautiful. I am enjoying Em's tomatoes and lettuce grown in containers....
