County Fair!

Two weekends ago was the Washington Co Fair - what a blast ! I will say I TOTALLY earned a weekend of play after the push to get ready for the IPNC event and I lapped it up!!! I LOVE the county fair even more than the state fair the livestock and 4-h showings are so fun!!

Laura and Julia both came out and helped groom horses and Friday I got to ride in the bareback draft riding competitions and Sat just as last year in the hay bucking race... sadly unlike last year didn't walk away with the blue in the hay bucking.. you would think after I put up 10 ton in my barn I could have pulled it out!... sigh... there's always next year!

and of course Duane and his shires made a great showing of it in all the classes with the 6 being the coup d'état!!

That's no slouch of a county fair! What a hay bucking wagon, wow! Those boys are really too beautiful, it's hardly fair, is it?

Thanks for the pictures! You look great, and so happy. Did you win ride-a-buck?

Ask Duane if he's headed to Denver in January for the 6 horse hitch.

humm I know he hasn't done that in the past... that's a lot of horses and gear to haul a LONG way!! the state fair is enough work I think...
