Wow, she makes it look so uncomplicated. No Pitocin or epidural for this girl, just some fresh spring grass. So happy for you two that you got to witness this beautiful thing togeather.

So cool, congratulations! I think my favorite part is that she was EATING while giving birth...that's my kind of woman! If I could have had a cheeseburger while giving birth to take my mind off the extreme pain, I would have done it, LOL!

I love the way you two left her alone. She knew exactly how and what to do. I'm a human's midwife in Portland (and an avid follower of your blog) and we've realized how little we really need to do when a baby is coming. All Mama's usually need is privacy, quiet and trust. I was at a home birth night and it was very similar except her husband caught the baby with us nearby but hands off. Great job you two humans! Oh and Haley, too!
