the new "flop house"

Joseph and Brian took the new goat shed up the hill yesterday evening! It' very exciting as the temporary goat shelter for rain and shade was made of an embarrassing combo of bungies and tarps it wasn't pretty... so now we have yet another mobile unit for our farm on wheels... this shelter will move around with the goats where ever they go they seem to have takin to it right away and it's big enough that it will accommodate our new boys coming at the end of June...

Flops and scooter checkin' out there new home.... hence the new name for this mobile unit.. the "flop house" named thanks to Joseph...

The "CARVERLAITERMEISTERMAN" ridin' on the tractor

This is the new log splitter... and no I don't mean Joseph.. it's the first tractor implement we bought brand spankin' new!!! from OVS ... Mr. Gauna and Dara you won't have to worrie about those "unsplittables" anymore and although I'm sure this December I will miss swinging the maul in the freezing cold at 6 am to get a fire going I'll remember it fondly : )

I'm also trying a new photo size I felt like those little photos just didn't do it... but if these are too slow let me know and I'll go back to the smaller ones..

Hi, Clare! Love the pictures, the size, everything! I'm so jealous of the animals - and I'm so glad they have you! So my questions:
- what is the yellow flower growing ALLLLL over?
- is that a Nike swoop under the Jesuit on Joseph's shirt? Hmmm.
- is that the llama in the backgroud of the pic of Flopsy and (I can't remember the name of the other goat)?
Clementine loves projects, and isn't that great! Lucky me, my furkids love projects too - they love that energy when your mind is totally engaged. I'm so happy for you!

Hey Lois thanks for visiting...
- the yellow "flower" is the beautiful yet invasive scotch broom it's absolutely gorgeous this time of year it's been blooming for over a month now. but it totally taken over as you can see... it is why we have the goats ...
- re: the nike swoosh wow good eye.. th shirt Joseph is wearing is from Jesuit high school where he taught for several years. The kids of the founder or owner guy from Nike go there (or did?) and he's a big fatty doner to the school.. I mean athletic facilities that put most colleges to shame kind of doner big stuff... so I think the swoosh was a thank you ... but should probably get the official press release on that on Joseph...
- yup the lama is there in that shot nice eye again : ) "Edward" is his name... the goats are "flops" her baby "scooter" and the other two small ones are "romeo" and "Juliette" ...

sounds like you are having a blast with your new pups I'd still LOVE to see photos???...

cheers! C
