breaking the silence

Hi !! I'm back - I'm sorry I was gone for a bit but I have a very good reason - I've been in the studio getting ready for an art show this coming weekend down in Eugene at a Food Justice Conference hosted at U of O ... here's a little preview of what I'll be showing...

Funny that you titled this post "breaking the silence," because these painting shut me up. I agree with Kate and Celia - it seems you have broken through to something more. Ok - I think it is because you believe in what you are painting - you want to change peoples minds. You are painting for a Food Justice Conference and it shows. Justice without love might lead to a harsh but fair society but there will be no compassion in its decisions.

Thanks for making me think with your paintings.

Gratefully, JC

Love your chickens! And the pig painting was wonderful, too.

Good luck at the show!

Based on the bios I read of the fellow artists whose work will be featured, this is huge! Love every single one!
