Welcome back! So sorry you got so sick, but Elsa is just beautiful, sigh. Clare, thank you so much for sharing the MOVIE of your critters! The critters must have missed you lots - they sure are glad to be around you. Your poultry is pretty spectacular - are those Lace Wyandotts? Everything looks happy and loved! Lois
Are you taking requests? I was thinking a video of you feeding the animals dinner. You could call it Bid Table Vespers. Then again there would have to be a lot of snorting, stomping, clucking, and what not to pull off that name but I have faith in your animals.
You know the video could be handy for someone that was say staying at the farm. You could call it Piloting Big Table Farm. Dad would be proud. -MC
I'm doing my best, but Thing Two is getting pecked. I take her out of the pen and let her run around outside during the day, then put her in the coop at night. Most days they all run around, and being in such a big area reduces the pecking. Poor thing, she carries her tail feathers pulled down all the time, now. 8-( But she's always happy to see me and follow me around and some days she doesn't want to be separate, so who knows! Just doing the best I can with those wonderful Girls. Still getting four eggs a day too; occasionally SuzieQ lays too, which we all gabble over and she preens and struts. Lois
So I showed the video to a Peruvian Lama here in Colombia and she said "WOW - Edward's cute! but camera shy and really wants you to put the camera down and either get some higher quality grain or a little "company". Lila volunteered but is afraid to fly.
