I too am heading off to nod and love seeing this images just prior, but pray tell what the heck are favas? I must be honest and say that I am very glad that's not your wrist! Though it's pretty amazing you found Garrett with a fork & knife! xo bee
ahh favas are the most fabulous early spring bean they are in these giant green pods like 6 - 7 inches long and you just eat the bean inside they are sublime!!! they also make a fabulous nitrogen fixing cover crop that you can over winter your garden with (in temperate climates)
