ReplyDeleteahh favas are the most fabulous early spring bean they are in these giant green pods like 6 - 7 inches long and you just eat the bean inside they are sublime!!! they also make a fabulous nitrogen fixing cover crop that you can over winter your garden with (in temperate climates)
